It has been a busy summer, with a lot of annamations being done and still being brewed, most of which I am unable to share online. But here is a little finished piece of something I have been working on, a bit more tactile and a personal project – a little mini couple for our wedding cake. They are made of FIMO (polymer clay that hardens in the oven) and are not edible and hence a bit more long-lasting. Their skeleton is a mixture of wire and aluminium foil, and it took many hours of kneading and cake-tool perfecting – and half an hour of baking – to get this little happy couple.
